The INFUZE certification, granted by the Infusion Nursing Society – India (INS-India), recognizes healthcare institutions that meet stringent global standards for infusion therapy.
The certification aims to standardize infusion practices, ensuring improved patient safety and clinical outcomes.
As part of the evaluation, hospitals undergo a comprehensive audit process to verify compliance with international best practices in infusion care, covering training, documentation, and patient management protocols.
Team Effort Behind the Achievement
The certification at Sahyadri Hospital, Hadapsar, was achieved through the collective efforts of the hospital’s Champions team, led by the nursing department under Sonali Tambe, Chief of Nursing Services. The initiative was guided by Dr. Kapil Borawake, Director of the Intensive Care Unit, and Dr. Abhijit Shivankar, General Manager – Operations, Sahyadri Super Speciality Hospitals, Hadapsar.
